Why us
We built one, then lived in it
Two years as a low-voltage technician installing fleet telematics across 48
states — thousands of installs on other people’s equipment, in other
people’s yards, on a flat rate. That work pays by the job, not by the night,
so the lodging maths stopped working. The fix was to build somewhere to sleep and
somewhere to work.
That build has crossed the country twice and runs off-grid. Everything we learned
keeping it running — and everything we got wrong the first time — is
what you are buying.
Contractors kept stopping us in hotel parking lots to ask how it was built. That is
the whole origin story, and it is why the work is sold the way it is:
specifications up front, no surprises at the invoice.
